GSO's!!

I am SO excited to share with you that in the last week and a 1/2 I've had 3 different layouts chosen as GSO's! What is a GSO? GSO is short for Gallery Stand Out. Where designers, ct's and other members of forums go through the digi community galleries and find layouts that stand out from the rest for one reason or another and then share those pages with the rest of the digi community.

First up Scrap Matters member and CT gal Heidi, a.k.a. Scrappin5kids chose my page Breakdown to be shared on the Scrap Matters Gallery Stand Out Blog. Thank you Heidi.
This layout tells a very personal story and it was almost therapeutic to scrap it!!

For this page I used the following products: Always Raining In My Head by Amy Stoffel which is available at Scrap Matters and I used a template from Captivated Vision's My Words Only Vol.2 available at Scrap Orchard.

The second layout is my page titled Family Movie Nights and the lovely Laura Banasiak of Scrap Orchard shared my page on the Me So Scrappy GSO Blog. Thank you Laura!!

This layout was created for Scrap Orchard's March 2011 Lift a Honeybee challenge. I lifted a page from Honeybee Britaneejean. I used the collab kit Now Playing by Lyndsay Riches and SuzyQ Scraps and it's available at Scrap Orchard.

The third layout of mine that was shared as GSO is the layout I made showcasing my bff's daughter's 2nd birthday.

Thank you to Sandy a.k.a. Sansan for choosing my page as Scrap Orchards Facebook Fan Page GSO for TODAY!! I created this page using the Scrap Orchard Newsletter March 2011 Designer Spotlight Free'bee' Your True Colors by Rachel a.k.a. Captivated Visions with a template from Rachel's Captivated by Andrea pack.

Well that's it from me today. I hope I have shared a lil inspiration for you.
Happy Scrapping!!

RAK...What's a RAK??

I was showing my kiddies the RAK I received from Carrie last night when my youngest asked "Mommy, what's a RAK"?
Well my dear in the digi world a RAK is a Random Act of Kindness!
With my digi scrappin' friends we RAK each other with layouts created using photos that are traded.
This is the page I received from Carrie a.k.a. Pinkadoo using a photo of my dd's, Nicole and Alexandra.

Carrie created this layout using the following digi scrap products
"Stand By Me" by Dunia Designs from MCScraps, Black Paper and Elements by Studio Flergs from Scrapbookgraphics and "Peek-A-Boo Set 1" by Fiddle-Dee-Dee from DigiChick
Thank you SO much Carrie!! I LOVE IT!!

Here is the RAK I created for Carrie!

I created this layout using the Helping Hands charity collab which I purchased a couple months back from Scrap Orchard, unfortunately it's no longer for sale. I also used the gorgeous family photo from Carrie!
Thanks for allowing me the chance to scrap your family Carrie!

Friday Fives

Wow, it's been quite a while again! I've been in kind of a mojo funk lately and I just couldn't create. I mean I would start a page or project then delete everything and stared at a blank canvas for like ever, lol. But with a few days away from the computer I was able to catch up on some major cleaning..like Spring cleaning almost, but not as intense and then voila! all of a sudden I was ready to get my scrap on again. And I've been a scrapping fool, lol. Since March 1st I've created over 20 pages! For my 5 today I want to share with my 5 most favorite layouts of the past week!

First is "Baby Boy". I created this page using the following products:
Sassy Starters Blocked Vol.1 by Nanie's Designs and "Heart This Lil' Boy" by SuzyQ Scraps. (Both available for sale at Scrap Orchard)
Font is Glider Girls.

Second is "Sassafras". I created this page using the kit Sassafras by Amy Stoffel. (available to purchase at Scrap Matters)

Thirdly I have "Walk in the Park". This page was created using the following products:
Cute Clusters Vol.5 by Nanie's Designs and "Beauty in the World" (the bundle) by Tracie Stroud. (Both available for sale at Scrap Orchard AND for ONE WEEK ONLY starting today you can get Cute Clusters Vol.5 FREE with the purchase of Sassy Starters Blocked Vol.1!
Font used was Highland Perk

Next up I have "Lucky Charm" which was created with the following digi scrap products:
"Dreams of Eire" by Farynar Wings. (available at Polka Dot Plum) and the scallops were made using Back to Basics Circles by Tracie Stroud. (available at Scrap Orchard) and the photomask was a blog freebie from Bouille. (which I got a long time ago and am unsure if it's still available).

Lastly I have "Year in Review" which is actually a 2 page spread...although here I'm separating it into 2 different pages. I think this is actually going to be the album I print. (I've never printed an album yet)
Ok this set of pages was created using the following products:
Year in Review templates by Scrapping With Liz and "A Year in Review" collection by Captivated Visions & SuzyQ Scraps. (Both available at Scrap Orchard)
*Page 1*

*Page 2*

Well that's it for my Friday Fives this week! Hopefully with my mojo back I'll start blogging regularly again too! I miss blogging and sharing!

Until next time, Happy Scrapping!
