Last 2 parts of collab kit...

So you remember the previews I posted a couple posts down?? The one was of the huge collab. from Digital-Crea, well they've since posted the last 2 parts of the collab. So now I can pick and choose out of all the seven yes 7 parts of this mega kit to scrap some Los with. I can't wait to get started!!

Scrappin Stuff N Sites

When I scrap I have two programs that I use. The first and my fave is Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. and for when I do my quick pages I use Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 4 (it cuts the scrap time in half sometimes more). Both of these products were purchased online, just do a google search or ebay.

So it's been a VERY long night and even longer day. I am so tired and drained it's not even funny. I wanted to work on getting some word art up but I just couldn't get in the groove today. I did however get a LO done today using Redju's kit 'My lovely turtle friends'. Here it is...

Color challenge

Here is the LO I created for the April color challenge over @ the Oscraps forum.
I love how this pic turned out. Your LO had to be B&W with only 1 color. Obviously the color I chose was red because it's the color of the roses in my sis' wedding bouquet.

For my most recent challenge, from the Mscraps forum is this LO...

This was a fun challenge, we had to go here to this site http://www.truevaluepaint.com/content/Color/ColorQuiz.aspx and take the color quiz, then we had scrap a LO using our 'color' as the prominent color in the LO. From what you can see my color is black. This is what the color black means (according to this quiz): "Nothing can stand between you and your demand for a calm environment. To be free of conflict and disagreement is the only way to live. In fact, it’s this philosophy that probably allows you to be comfortable in conditions that would normally bother others. Your ability to focus is undisputed, and while you enjoy attention, you still have problems understanding how to handle it. No other color out lives by the golden rule as much as you do."

This is the freebie mega collaboration kit from Digital-Crea, called Twinnie.
These are some recent freebie kits I've gotten the top 2 are from Digital-Crea and they are Beautiful Day by Kawouette and Bohemian Love by Lolden. The bottom 2 are I'ts ok to be different and Mother Daughter Bond, both by Twelve by Twelve Designs.
These are 3 collaboration kits I've purchased recently the 1st is called Comincs and Bubbles, by Pouyou Designs & Cardamome, purchased at Digital-Crea. The 2nd is Ouchies and Sickies by Jady Day Designs and Suzy Q Scraps, purchased at Scrap Orchard. The 3rd is Play by Decrow Designs and Sahlin Studio, purchased at Scrap Matters.com and the last kit is called Recreation 23 by Catherine Designs & Createwings Designs, purchased at After 5 Designs.

I just wanted to share these previews with you, they are previews of some kit's I've either purchased or freebies I've gotten to add to my ever growing digi scrap stash.

I was just going through all my folders because I was in a digi scrap slump, I lost my creative mojo and was just browsing my goodies to see what caught my eye.

You know whats sad is out of all these kits so far I've only scrapped with 5 of them.

I guess I better get to scrapping huh?! LOL.

Welcome!

Well, this is my test drive, lol.
My first post on blogger. Had to have a change of scenery from MySpace, I guess it was time to start blogging on a 'grown up blog'. Actually I just wanted to have a blog where I could really share my passions. Specifically my photography and scrap layouts. I also want to try my hand at designing my own kits and I figured it would be easier to share those from here than from MySpace.
So here goes nothing....
